Angelica worked as secretary in the General Direction of San Ignacio S.A.C, within the distribution center of Backus and Johnston Peruvian Breweries S.A. in Huaraz, Ancash. In 2007, Angelica was moved to Lima as Assistant in Sales Management of the same company. In 2008, Angelica worked in the Center for Image Diagnosis-EMETAC for a year, before joining WCS as Administrative Assistant. She is the current Administrative Coordinator and is studying Business Administration and Management in the Peruvian American University.

Armando Mercado
Coordinator, Geographic Information Systems - Peru
Armando studied geography and is a Master’s candidate in Environmental Science, specializing in Hydrology, at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. He joined WCS in 2011 as a Landscape Ecology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist. His work experience includes work as the GIS Coordinator for the Association for Conservation of the Amazon (ACA) and Remote Sensing/GIS Analyst for WWF in Peru. Armando has focused on models and landscape ecology metrics to understand the changing patterns of land use and wetlands.

Camila Germana
WCS Deputy Director
Camila is a forestry engineer from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Peru and a master degree in Environmental and International Development from the East Anglia University in the UK. She has an extensive work experience in formulation, management and monitoring of conservation and development projects mainly in the areas of forest management, protected areas, landscape management and water stewardship. In addition, Camila has experience in the design, organization and facilitation of training events as well as in the facilitation of collective systematization of experience and generation of learning.

Cinthya Rynaby
Participatory Management Specialist Conservation Areas
Cinthya studied biology in the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, where she also obtained a master’s degree in Sciences with a mention in Ecology and Sustainable Development. Before joining WCS in 2010, she worked in rescue and rehabilitation projects for the Amazonian manatee (Trichechus inunguis) and the Caribbean manatee (Trichecus manatus). Currently, she supports the development of community-based strategies for wildlife conservation, focusing on the Communal Regional Conservation Area Tamshiyacu Tahuayo and the strengthening of its management committee and local populations.
